As children, my sister and I loved music and through the years, especially from high school on, were heavily involved in music performance; my sister in piano and voice and myself in choral and solo work.
Having lived in the U.S., Europe (England and Sweden) and Africa, I have had opportunities to be involved in music as a soloist on all three continents, including some TV and radio work. Over the past 20 plus years (29 of which have been in Brighton), I’ve recorded several cassettes (in Denver) and three CDs. Presently I am working on a DVD of my music, one song of which (“Could It Be”) is now on You Tube.
Along with others in our community I count it a privilege to work with the Heart of Brighton Board in raising funds for capital needs and high quality performances at the Armory, Brighton’s newly renovated and refurbished performing arts center. Whether music, dance, theater or related arts such as painting, sculpture and photography, to be involved in the on-going experience and development of the cultural arts for Brighton and the surrounding region is indeed an honor.
