Dennis Ferris is a native of Colorado and a Brighton resident for nine years. Having grown up in a large family, someone was always in a chorus or theatre production, primarily my talented sister Debbie. Some of my favorite theatre memories in Denver are seeing Henry Fonda play the famous lawyer, Clarence Darrow, and then accidently ran into Mr. Fonda leaving the theater and I introduced myself. The other favorite Denver memory is attending Sammy Davis Jr. sing and dance a production called “Mr. Bo Jangles”. Lastly, I was fortunate to be in London when Jimmy Stewart played “Harvey”, in one of the longest running theatre productions at the time.
Past fund raiser for MDA, volunteer on several United Way committees, a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement, local fundraiser while President of Brighton Early Rotary and co-chair of the John Fielder Charitable event. The Fielder event was one of the first events held at the Armory.
Dennis joined the Heart of Brighton Board after chairing the inaugural Brighton Blues Blast. Dennis is an active member in the Brighton Chamber of Commerce.
